The battle for the WCW Television Championship at Uncensored is shaping up to be as much about ideology as it is about gold. On one side, you have the powerhouse Lex Luger—a fighting champion, respected by fans and feared by his rivals. On the other? The snobbish, disdainful technician Lord William Regal, who scoffs at American customs, the Uncensored pay-per-view, and even his opponents.

Regal claims he doesn’t need weapons or chaos to win—a gentleman’s competitor in his own mind.

This feud exploded after Regal ran his mouth one too many times on WCW Saturday Night, belittling Luger’s past accolades and painting him as a symbol of "everything uncultured in America." Luger, never one to back down, promised to shut Regal up the only way he knows how—with force.

Will Luger retain and continue the legacy of the TV Title once held by Arn Anderson? Or will Regal sneak out a win and disgrace the division with his smug superiority?

One of WCW’s most electric and unpredictable superstars may have suffered a serious setback.

At Clash of the Champions, Macho Man Randy Savage found himself on the receiving end of a brutal post-match beatdown at the hands of The Giant—with André the Giant egging him on. After suffering a punishing chokeslam, multiple chair shots, and a vicious assault outside the ring, Savage had to be helped from the arena by WCW medical staff. It was a harrowing scene for fans in attendance and those watching around the world.

As of now, WCW officials have not released any official word on Savage’s condition, though insiders have noted that he’s being evaluated for potential upper-body injuries and may miss in-ring action for a number of weeks. Sources close to WCW have also mentioned that Savage is “pushing to return sooner rather than later”—but it’s too early to confirm.

This development throws even more chaos into the World Championship picture heading into Uncensored. With Hogan locked in a collision course with The Giant, and Savage now potentially sidelined, the power balance in WCW may be shifting faster than anyone expected.

Will Savage return in time to seek revenge? Or is this exactly what André and The Giant had planned all along?
